Fashion - Shop my closet on Vinted

Fashion, clothing, outfits ... You often hear me talking about it, about once a week on this blog. Over the years I have also built a big wardrobe. So big that I really had to look for another place for my latest items. A few months ago I decided to change that and cleaned up my wardrobe. A part went to the thrift stores and clothing container and the vast majority - that has been worn too little - I started to sell through second-hand apps. Today I tell you more about my wardrobe on the Vinted app.

Fashion, kleding, outfits... Jullie horen er mij vaak over praten, zo'n één keer per week ongeveer op deze blog. Door de jaren heen heb ik dan ook een deftige kleerkast op gebouwd. Zo deftig dat het zoeken werd naar nog een plaatsje voor mijn laatste nieuwtjes. Een paar maand geleden besloot ik daar verandering in te brengen en heb ik mijn kleerkast opgeruimd. Een deel ging naar de kringloopwinkels en kledingcontainer en het overgrote deel dat te weinig gedragen is geweest begon ik te verkopen via tweedehands apps. Vandaag vertel ik jullie meer over mijn kleerkast op de Vinted app.

Vinted is an app / website founded in Lithuania where you can resell your clothes and where you can also score new items for a small price. Vinted has recently gone worldwide so you can buy stuff from all over the world. With their recent TV campaign on Belgian television, Vinted is now also becoming better known in our country. Before Vinted I sold my clothes for a while via United Wardrobe, but since I know Vinted, I can not get away from the app anymore. With United Wardrobe you still pay 10% of your revenues to them and you also had to pay for the shipping yourself and thus you have to include in your price, making it less attractive for the buyers. Since a few weeks the sales price at UW is now also exclusive shipping costs, but you still have to give that 10% to them. Another advantage of Vinted is that the shipping label is made by Vinted itself, so that after the sale you just have to print the label on your package, stick it on the package, bring it to a Mondial Relay delivery point and ready. Mondial Relay also works fast, simple and is much cheaper than bpost.

Vinted is een app/website opgericht in Litouwen waar je je kledij en andere kan doorverkopen aan andere mensen en waar jij dus ook nieuwe spulletjes kunt scoren voor een klein prijsje. Vinted bestaat sinds kort wereldwijd waardoor je spullen kunt kopen van over de hele wereld. Met hun recente tv-campagne op de Belgische televisie krijgt Vinted nu ook meer bekendheid in ons land. Voor Vinted verkocht ik mijn kledij al een tijdje via United Wardrobe, maar sinds ik Vinted ken, ben ik er niet meer weg te halen van de app. Bij United Wardrobe sta je namelijk nog 10% van je opbrengsten af aan hen en moest je ook de verzending zelf betalen en dus in je prijs meerekenen waardoor dit dan weer minder aantrekkelijk werd voor de kopers. De verkoopprijs is sinds een paar weken bij UW nu ook exclusief de verzendkosten, maar toch sta je nog steeds die 10% af. Bijkomend voordeel van Vinted is dat het verzendlabel wordt gemaakt door Vinted zelf, waardoor jij na de verkoop gewoon het label moet afprinten op je pakket moet kleven, naar een Mondial Relay afgiftepunt brengen en klaar. Mondial Relay werkt trouwens ook snel, eenvoudig én is veel goedkoper dan bpost.

In the meantime, you can find many items for bargain prices in my wardrobe on Vinted. Not only clothing, but I also sell never used makeup products on Vinted. I've been using the Vinted app for about two weeks now and have sold some 50 products in total, I haven't sold that much on United Wardrobe in all those months that I have an account there. It is of course important that the clothing and stuff you sell are still in a good condition, do not set your prices too high and take good product photos, for example photos where you wear the item yourself - such photos are not hard to find for a blogger. Ondertussen kan je in mijn kleerkast op Vinted al heel wat spulletjes voor spotprijsjes terugvinden. Niet enkel kledij, maar ook nooit gebruikte make up producten verkoop ik eveneens op Vinted. Ik gebruik de Vinted app nu al zo'n twee weken en heb in totaal al zo'n 50 producten verkocht, zoveel heb ik nog niet verkocht op United Wardrobe in al die maanden dat ik daar een account heb. Het is natuurlijk belangrijk dat de kleding en spullen die je verkoopt nog in een goede staat zijn, zet je prijzen niet te hoog en zorg voor goede productfoto's, bijvoorbeeld foto's waar je het item zelf draagt - zo'n foto's zijn niet moeilijk te vinden als je een blogger bent. Uiteraard heb ik ook al zelf wat spullen gekocht op Vinted. In de foto onderaan zie je wat ik heb kunnen scoren op de Vinted app:

Vinted is not only fun for your own wallet, but also good for the environment. Vinted is niet alleen leuk voor jouw eigen portemonnee, maar ook nog eens goed voor het milieu.
