Hiyaa girls! Since I live alone, I'm a real sucker for decoration. Decoration is really something that I need in my house to make me feel at home. And feeling at how, is the easiest with personal, customized decoration. Like no one wants to come across the same outfit at a party, no one wants the same standard decorations in your house. Today I tell you also about my new acquisition of decoration: this personal photo on Plexiglas from Fotofabriek.nl.

Hiyaa girls! Sinds ik alleen ben gaan wonen, ben ik een echte sucker voor decoratie. Decoratie is echt iets dat ik nodig heb ik mijn huis om mij thuis te laten voelen. En je thuis voelen, lukt nog het best met persoonlijke, op maat gemaakte decoratie. Want net zoals je niemand wilt tegen komen met dezelfde outfit op een feestje, wil je niet dezelfde standaard decoratie in je huis hebben staan. Vandaag vertel ik jullie dan ook over mijn nieuwe aanwinst van decoratie: deze persoonlijke foto op plexiglas van Fotofabriek.nl

Fotofabriek.nl is a website specializing in photo editing, think of calendars, photo books, cards, wall decorations... I got the opportunity to choose one of their products. Although they have a lot of different things, I had decided quickly when I saw their photos on plexiglass. Their products on plexiglass is a more original way to hang your pictures on the wall, it's something different than a picture frame. I opted for the lying dimensions 20x30, this is also the smallest dimension. As you can see, it is quite thick plexiglass, with 5 mm. So it can surely take a beating. Also the colours of the pictures are very beautiful and vibrant. Well just a little duller than the real picture, but very much of a difference you don't see. The details are also perfect, the corners are pretty sharp, the picture nicely arranged, the glass shows no scratches, etc.

Fotofabriek.nl is een website die gespecialiseerd is in fotobewerking, denk hierbij aan kalenders, fotoboeken, agenda's, kaarten, wanddecoratie... Van hen mocht ik dan ook één van hun producten kiezen. Hoewel ze heel veel verschillende spullen hebben, had ik snel beslist toen ik hun foto's op plexiglas zag. Hun producten op plexiglas is een originelere manier om je foto's aan de muur te hangen, het is eens iets anders dan een fotokader. Ik heb gekozen voor de liggende afmeting 20x30, dit is eveneens de kleinste afmeting. Zoals je kan zien is het plexiglas redelijk dik, namelijk 5 mm. Hierdoor kan het best wel tegen een stootje. Daarnaast komen de kleuren van de foto's ook heel mooi over. Wel net een beetje doffer dan de echte foto, maar veel verschil zie je niet eigenlijk. De afwerking is ook perfect, de hoeken zijn mooi scherp, de foto is mooi aangebracht, het glas vertoont geen krasjes, etc.

As picture I chose a photo of my cat Snoekems. I doubted about some nice pictures of my vacation in Italy, but since I didn't really found the ideal photo, I chose my favorite cat. Making this plexiglass photo is also very easy. On the fotofabriek.nl website, you click on the desired product and from then on you can easily upload the picture you want. The program let you know how good the quality of the selected picture will be, so you can avoid a blurry or pixelated picture. After selecting the photographs you can add additional items such as a text or drawings sticker, but I just wanted to keep it clean. Once you're happy with your photo, you can still see a preview and then you just follow the steps to make the payment. Easy, breezy.

Als foto koos ik dus voor een foto van mijn kat Snoekems. Ik twijfelde eerst nog over een leuke foto van mijn vakantie in Italië, maar aangezien ik niet echt de ideale foto vond, heb ik gekozen voor mijn favoriete kat. Het maken van deze plexiglas foto is overigens ook enorm simpel. Op de website van fotofabriek.nl klik je op het gewenste product en vanaf dan kan je eenvoudig de gewenste foto uploaden. Het programma laat ook weten hoe goed de kwaliteit is van de gekozen foto, dus zo voorkom je dat je een wazige of pixelated foto zou toegestuurd krijgen. Na het kiezen van de foto kan je nog extra zaken toevoegen zoals een tekst of sticker tekeningen, maar hier wou het gewoon clean houden. Eens je tevreden bent van je foto, kan je nog een preview zien en daarna volg je gewoon de stappen naar de betaling. Easy, breezy.

On every corner there is a hole drilled in the plexiglass, through this hole can be put these silver round tubes. The tubes have a hole at the back where you can turn the screws, which are included in your order, in. Thanks to these silver buttons on the front, you can easily hang your favorite photo on plexiglass at the wall, where ever you want. You can also just put the picture somewhere on a table or cupboard, but it needs a wall to lean, as it does not just remain upright by itself.

Deze foto op plexiglas is dus niet alleen kwalitatief in orde, maar ook heel handig door de extra's die je erbij krijgt. Op elke hoek zit er namelijk een gat geboord in het plexiglas, door dit gat kan je de zilveren ronde tubes steken. De tubes hebben aan de achterkant een gaatje waar je de vijzen in kan draaien die bij je bestelling geleverd worden. Dankzij deze zilveren knopjes aan de voorkant, kan je je favoriete foto op plexiglas ook heel eenvoudig omhoog hangen aan de muur, waar je maar wilt. Je kan het ook gewoon ergens plaatsen op een kastje of dergelijke, maar dan heeft het wel een muur nodig om tegen te leunen aangezien het niet gewoon rechtop blijft staan. 

Conclusion? I am super happy with my new wall decoration. My cat is now immortalized on a beautiful plexiglass picture that also fits perfectly into my interior. This photo on plexiglass with dimensions 20x30 you pay € 27.99. Although this is a given product, I think it is surely worth the money, value considering this is really good product. Conclusie? Ik ben super tevreden van mijn nieuwe wanddecoratie. Mijn kat staat nu vereeuwig op een prachtige plexiglas foto die ook nog eens perfect in mijn interieur past. Voor deze foto op plexiglas met afmeting 20x30 betaal je € 27,99. Hoewel dit dus een gekregen product is, zou ik dit bedrag er voor over hebben, prijs-kwaliteit gezien is dit echt in orde. Ik ga zeker nog eens kijken tussen mijn foto's welke leuke afbeeldingen ik nog zou kunnen laten afdrukken op plexiglas. Wat vindt jij van dergelijke wanddecoratie en foto's?
